How To Stay Out Of The Podiatrist Office!

Following a few easy guidelines will help you steer clear of having a visit to the Podiatrists office.
1. Examine your feet every morning before putting your socks on.
2. Make sure you thoroughly dry between all toes after showering.
3. Use quality footpowder like Zeasorb AF on your feet and between your toes
4. After your shower or bath apply a quality skin moisturizer like Eucerin Plus to skin.
5. Use cotton socks, try to stay away from manmade materials like rayon
6. Cut your nails straight across, and use an emery board to file any rough edges away.
7. Wear sensible, supportive, activity specific shoegear.
8. Shop for shoegear in the late afternoon.

  3. The environment was nice and calming, unfortunately, I can not say the same for the woman at the front desk and the "manager". Both Mary and Janeth, were rude and lacked professionalism. They were extremely lazy and their arrogant manner was surprisingly disrespectful. The secretary Janeth had no fundamentals of simple communication and seemed to have no conception of the range of rules and regulations nor the ones that could be used in her discretion to assist and make a potential long term patient. Janeth relied on Mary entirely to much! She continually acted like a messenger, while asking Mary who was mere steps away for advice when it was precisely she that had “vaguely addressed” my situation approximately two minutes earlier! Mary herself had simply walked away as if I was not there for care and I did not wait two weeks for an appointment. Being proactive and attempting to better accommodate them, I contacted my insurance provider at the same number available for any secretary to utilize. Unfortunately, they said it was in violation of HIPPA codes to speak over a cellular phone, yet neither of the two entertained the insurance representative or the commonsensical advice that was simple and would have alleviated any problem, question, or concern. The doctor may be great at what he does, however, I firmly believe his workers are a direct representation of who he is and in my opinion, do to my terrible experience, they are collectively unprofessional. I would NOT recommend this medical practice. I did not receive common courtesy, proper respect nor the “care” this facility ravs about. Attitude is everything and the manager [Mary] needs to change hers! One should not allow personal problems or biases enter the workplace! She should be a better role model in properly leading others in the office like Janeth, who obviously needs to take more initiative and be more proactive in her office development.
